Thought I would try this flour (since I was at Costco) and the usual flour I use, King Arthur unbleached AP flour was out of stock at two different grocery stores near me.

I tried it in my banana bread (similar to recipe on starbucks.com), and although it tasted okay and texture was similar, it took much longer to bake.

I tried it in my vegan pancakes and it just didn't look right. Didn't taste it, but kids didn't mention a difference.

So for some purposes I suppose it is okay, for more delicate things, I 'll stick to my usual flour. I am really not up to experimenting with different ratios, etc, at this time in my life!

Has anyone else tried the ultragrain flour?
