What color Tripp Trapp?

Black or walnut or red? Our dining room table is a dark wood. The chairs are disressed with dark wood seats and black backs. The art is predominately red. What would you get?

I think I'd do black.

Black would be easier to touch up with a Sharpie if any of the paint flaked off, and it would look very nice, and go well with your current furniture it sounds like. Red might be kind of fun and funky though, depending on the rest of the room.
But I don't think you will regret the black.

I myself have a light gray one and a bright green one. The rest of our kitchen chairs are assorted colors so anything goes!

ETA: We have never had any trouble with paint flaking off of ours at all but I know other people have mentioned it happening to them.

we've had black kinderzeats for 4 years and they've never chipped. The finish is really hard and more like a stain. The chairs have some dents and scratches but the color hasn't chipped or flaked off.

I'd go with black for your room.
