Mini boden Jersey Baggies help, please

Okay, I ordered both the sky/ketchup and the grey/yellow jersey baggies for my son. I love the colors of the sky/ketchup IRL while other pair's coloring seems Blah. Question is: what shirts could you wear with either, i.e. which shorts would have the better shirt selections...I am stumped!

BTW, also ordered the blue/white baggies and LOVE them. I am now hooked on Mini Boden.

I had to return my grey/yellow, didn't like the colors either. Boden had a yellow tee with a diver in a shark cage surrounded by sharks, I didn't like it and really didn't want it on my 4 yr old, thats just my opinion.

May be an obvious question, are you looking for Mini-Boden tees to match?

Yes, I think I definitely like the bright colors of the sky/ketchup baggies and will send the grey pair back. I just do not know what boden shirts go with it. I feel like I am reading through ALL of the reviews but not many people mentioning these color shorts.

I definitely like the sky/ketchup over the grey. We have a pair of the sky/red from a few seasons back that have a cute coordinating red tee with a bicycle on it. But this season the bicycle t is light blue. I *think* it would be too much light blue (if they are even the same shade.)

I have both and I prefer the gray/yellow striped one. It goes great with the navy blue fish/piranha tee...the yellow matches perfectly! I also have another yellow tee to go with it from another brand. I don't necessarily need a Boden tee to match the Boden baggies. I bought all 5 baggies from this summer....some to be worn this summer and some next summer. I also bought a couple other ones from summer '09 (green/white, gray/turquoise) from Ebay and saving it for next summer as well. I'm totally addicted to these baggies for DS!!

I have the red bicycle tee you're talking about, but I'm saving it for next summer since the size is 3-4. Should go great with the red/sky baggies from this year. Bought it on Ebay.

That tee and striped baggies is one of the first Boden outfits I bought for DS. I got it second hand and it still looks great. Unfortunately it is almost too small for him!

I bought this tee too last summer with light blue/red stripe baggies (outfit on ebay), but DS dislikes the tee. He just hates the bicycle (?).

I pair them up with just about any red tee, I have one from Gap and Naarjie.

I love MB's applique tees, the shark would be cute with the blue/red baggies, the green w/Rino would be cute with the blue/white (I have, would get the tee but DS has too much already):

I did get the piranha applique tee and paired it up with the orange/ecru baggies, its one of my favorite outfits. That shirt is also the same color as the blue baggies.

Thats if you like it, I like the light blue trim on the sleeves and collar matching the blue in the shorts. Not a perfect matching set but a very neat look. I have the 'Boom Box', love it, it goes with some denim shorts. MB Board Shorts, I love those too, I got the denim at the sale last year and have every one from this year except for the skulls and blue ticking :bag. I do have twin boys in 2 different sizes....

I don't know what size your ordering, I could probably come up with other combos, LOL, but I have to go to bed!

What size is your DS in?

He is a 47lb, 47" 5 yr old but the size 6 seemed a bit snug in the vintage cargo shorts I bought earlier, so I have bought rest of shorts at 7-8. The size 7-8 board shorts fit him really well in the waist; surprising to me b/c he is on lean side.

Sorry, I was a bit ill last night and didn't get to reply. With what you have and what Mini Boden has left in 7-8, I like these 2, the green tee to go with your blue/white and red tee to go with your light blue/red. I have both of these tees.

I didn't see anything that jumped out at me at Gap.com in kids, I loved their toddler screen tees so much better, but I have seen Ecko, Greendog, Hurley, DKNY, etc that have caught my eye in the past.

Back in May they had a buy 2 items get 1 free for about 2-3 days only. I fell into that one! They sold alot then. Then they just had 25% off thru an ebates link, with 3% cash back with ebates, thats 28% off. You'll get your other 3% back thru ebates at a later date.

Of us who love Mini Boden, we are ordering from the Fall Preview because 20% off is a very good offer until it gets more into the Fall season. Some things are so popular during the preview they are low stock by the time Boden opens Fall 'publicly'. Also its NEW Mini-Boden stuff to look at! Whoo-Hoo!

I did have 5 outfits picked out, but narrowed it down to 3. I may get 2-3 more shirts. Living in TN it doesn't get really cold until late Nov., I don't know how much wear I'll get out of the Tartan (flannel) pants or the lined skate pants, DS is hot natured. I just don't want to wait until then and they be out of stock or something, kwim?

Hope that helped! You can return anything even if its been washed within the return time period. I returned a shirt I wore about 3 times, I washed it on cold and hung to dry, I just couldn't stand the way it fit. (A Womens shirt) There were no problems!
