I am thinking of getting my neice a water/sand table for her first birthday. I am looking at these 2 models:

Step2 Naturally Playful sand/water table
http://www.walmart.com/ip/Naturally-Playful-Sand-Water-Table/10983986?sourceid=1500000000000003260420&ci_src=14110944&ci_sku=10983986

and the Step2 Play Up Adjustable sand/water table
http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=13070212&findingMethod=rr&

I have read several positive reviews of the first one (on here and elsewhere) so I am leaning toward that one but am wondering if for a $1 more if the adjustable legs are something to consider. The umbrella placement and size look better on the first one though.

This will need to be shipped to her (she lives in a different state than us) so I am limited on where to order from. I am figuring WM will give them the best return ability if there is a problem with it.

I have this one: http://www.walmart.com/ip/Step2-Arctic-Splash-Water-Table/10983999?sourceid=1500000000000003260420&ci_src=14110944&ci_sku=10983999

Even my 7 year old plays with it.

aside from the leg issue (I always tend to prefer adjustable) the actual play area on the adjustable one seems to be less. i'd go with the original. The closer the shovels are in the sand with multiple children, the more arguing there will be.
