View Full Version : Unlined rain coat for playing in the rain?

Amaya has a cute Kidorable rain coat and it keeps her dry, but it is literally falling apart. The kitty on the outside is almost completely flaked off. It will not hold up to serious wear and tear. Sebastian needs a coat and I would love a more heavy duty raincoat for him, but we are in 100 degree weather for the next few months so it must be unlined. The LE ones are all lined except for the packable version, and I don't know if that one will stand up to serious rain play. Any ideas?

We have these LL bean ones and they are great. Also great as a windbreaker and travel VERY well (fold up super small).

How far are you sizing up in these? I was planning to get a 2T (he can still wear 18mo), but many of the reviews say to size up a couple of sizes.

Have you tried the rain pants? Do they stain? I'm wondering if they will hold up to the mud.

Thanks!
