DS1's bday is next week. He'll be 7 and asked for a camera.

This morning he amended his request and wondered if he can get a camera for him and one for his brother for his birthday. I thought that was really sweet and thoughtful.

If I could find a decent camera in the say $50 range, I'd could be swayed to do that. (is that crazy of me??) I have visions of many camera projects this summer and it would be easier if they both had their own.

I was looking at at kodak easy share for $80 before this request.

thanks,
Kelly

I have an easy share my mom bought me from costco for about $80, it came with a SD card. It takes pretty good pictures. I bought it because I wanted something small to keep in my purse. The battery life is great and comes with a rechargable battery. Its point and shoot. Of course my Canon DSLR takes MUCH better pictures but this is great for those times when I'm out and about and the kids do something cute I want to get a picture of IYLWIM. It takes much better that my old digital camera I spent a lot more for about 10 years ago. I'm very happy with it.
