Well, my daughter who is barely 20 months and probably 34 inches has learned how to launch herself easily out of her crib. :bouncy: She did once when we put her in and ran out of her bedroom after landing on the floor and then DH watched her do it easily four times with no hesitation. (He caught her each time.)

For her safety, we took the crib mattress out of the crib and put it on the floor. She likes to roll around so we started it next to the wall but I read this could be a problem. I stayed next to her until she fell asleep and when I went to check on her at 2am she had rolled off her mattress and was sleeping in the middle of the floor! I slept next to her the rest of the night.

I read safety rails are actually dangerous. Any advice on how to handle this?

She was sleeping through the night in her crib and taking nice 2 hour naps!!!

Any help is appreciated! Sorry for typos, typing fast as my very attached child cries for me as she is with DH.

How about keeping her in the crib and getting a crib tent?
