View Full Version : Tennis racquet for 2to3yo?
I'm looking for an inexpensive/cheap tennis racquet for my almost 3 yo. I know he's just going to bang it around. Target had the sponge bob one for under 20, but I am trying to avoid sponge bob. Other than Play it Again Sports or walmart, where else should I look?

I have used HolaBird Sports several times for things for DH. Never had any problems and usually they have great prices!

I have a head racquet and so does DH, we both LOVE them. But DH has worked as a part-time tennis pro and says that 27" is too long for a toddler.
Here is a site that recommends sizes by age. [URL]http://tennis.about.com/od/forjuniors/a/raclengthjr_2.htm (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0000AQCU4?ie=UTF8&tag=01.-20&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B0000AQCU4)

At that age, I would just get a 19 inch one from Target-most places have the Wilson ones. I know they had non-sponge Bob ones there (I avoid him as well) and also at Kmart in the sporting goods section. Also can try Dicks or Sports Auth.
Thanks all! My Target in general doesn't have a great selection, and only had the bob one. Dick's had the character ones and some purple ones in the smaller sizes. But Play it again had a used racquet that I think will work out.
