where do you buy preemie clothes?

Wal-Mart was one of the easiest accessible places. Some Babies R Us have them too.

Our Babies R Us has a display of them; it's on the boys side of the store. Carters makes them, too, and I've seen them at a Carter's store and other places that carry Carters.

I believe you can get some stuff at The Children's Place too. Their new born size is up to 7 lbs and worked for my friends twins (they were 5lbs).

as others mentioned, carter's, babies r us, and wal-mart. wal-mart is probably most accessible & cheapest. my DS was not a preemie but was only 18.5 inches at birth and all the nb size clothes were way too big on him, and after we brought him home we sent FIL out to buy preemie clothes. he found decent cheap stuff at wal-mart. i agree, its' best to get just cheap stuff bc they're probably grow out of it quickly.

also, the Gerber onesies in NB size (sold at babies r us and at other places) probably fit preemies pretty decently. Gerber clothes tend to run really tiny.

I have found them at Target in the infant layettes section. It was the Carters/Target brand. I bought a few just in case my twins were born really tiny. They did end up wearing a couple of their preemie outfits in the very beginning, so I was happy I bought a few outfits but glad I didn't go all out.

Carters and petit bateau on the high end. Expensive but so cute that I saved all of our preemie layette for DDs dolls!

I got a bunch of clothes for my DD online, but mainly because I spent whole days at the hospital and DH ordered them for her. But now I keep seeing those in Walmart or BRU. My baby was in them for a while though, she grew very slowly.
