What would you expect

On Thursday a handyman (brother of a friend) came by to look at a bunch of small projects. He was supposed to email me a quote. When would you expect to hear from him? When would you email him?

In our experience, it takes some time to get a quote especially if you've got lots of little jobs that need to be priced separately. I'd contact in a week.

Huh, my handyman always gave me a quote right then and there. Of course that was just for his time. If he was picking up parts for the project, actual cost was added on.

Wow you guys are patient. I'd expect a call by today. I've had handyman estimates done day of. A week seems really long. My painter got me an estimate where he had to get the paint price (I wanted Benjamin Moore, he used SW) by the next day.
