We are looking to move beyond the plastic sets and upgrade to a wooden set with a slide, swing, play fort (?), etc. that will hopefully last a while through several kids. DS is driving me nuts on Saturday AM when he won't go to the park but won't stop climbing on the furniture.
I see them for sale at TRU and also at the specialty wooden swing set stores. Both are certainly expensive places, but what is the real difference in quality of construction/materials? Has anyone bought anything at a place that they were particularly satisfied with? Or has anyone bought one used (off CL) and could offer pointers on what to watch out for?
