Sand Shovels??

UGGG!! Packing for the beach and found all our sand play "stuff" but I can't for the life of me find any shovels!! We'd accumulated some great ones over the years and I can't find a one, very odd! Guess I need to go out and get some tomorrow. Has anyone seen nice ones (not flimsy) for a good deal? I'm assuming I'll have to buy a kit to get the shovels. I'd rather get them at home rather than running around and paying more at the beach.

Try 5 below or a dollar store. The shovels DS plays with most are the big wooden handled digger.

Kohl's had some LT (small) ones - in a 3 pack w/a digger and a sifter - maybe $1.50 last week. I got one to take to the beach to supplement our set and left them in the sand/water table at home.

Thanks for the replies! Headed to look at Target & Walmart. Unfortunately Kohls is a bit too far and doesn't fit into the schedule today!

This might be bigger than you want, but our favorite sand shovel is the one we picked up at Lowes or home depot. It's in the real shovel section, but it's half size...so perfect for the kids. (You can dig ALOT of sand with that thing!) I think it was $10

My local Target has a bunch of shovels that are sold separately in the beach stuff section- we got a wide plastic one that does a good job and is great for my 3 yo DD.
