I was just on weather.com myself...150 adults and 75 kids coming on Saturday with a 60% chance of rain. Lovely. I have no frigging clue what we are going to do, I can't fit that many people in my house.

Wow, that's a PARTY!!! Our forecast doesn't look GREAT at all.....we have about 20 adults and 17 kids....still, not enough room for everyone to sit and imagine that BBQ sauce all over the furniture. How do I keep these kids entertained? Yikes!

What about a tent & nix the pool if there's lightning/thunder?

:yeahthat: This is what I would do. It would be fun and funny to "redo" July 4th a different day, yk?

They probably will, but if there's no lightning & thunder, you should be OK to use the pool anyway.

I swam in many an outdoor meet while it poured. We only stopped if it was thundering/someone saw lightning.

IDK if that works for your group, though.

i like the idea of celebrating the 4th on another sunnier day.
