What is everyone watching this summer? I've started to watch a lot of Food Network shows and other documentary type shows.

Chef vs City
Dinner Impossible
The Next Food Network Star

Deadliest Catch/After the Catch

The Gates on ABC seems to be the only drama show I'm watching right now.

lots of baseball games...

still need to catch up on my DVR...Grey's Anatomy, Brothers and Sisters

What is everyone else watching?

Burn Notice!

Royal Pains (meh)

starting soon:

Eureka
Warehouse 13

Psych!

White Collar
maybe the new one with Piper Perabo about her being a CIA agent or something silly.

I didn't realize the new Lie to Me epis had started, so we are behind on those. I also missed the beginning of Persons Unknown, which had me intrigued. I finally tried The Gates (dvr) last night and didn't really dig it, so won't continue. I also tried Happy Town, but it was pretty bad and it looks like they aren't even going to air the remaining epis.

Other than that, Netflix is my friend (Alias, BSG, Dr Who, and Torchwood at the moment).

yeah I thought The Gates was maybe a cross between Stepford Wives and Twilight or something. Although I've never read the Twilight books or seen the movies...just going on the vampire theme.

I don't think it will last.

I forgot about Burn Notice...although we should watch seasons 2 and 3 as we somehow never saw those...

I'd also like to try and watch Mad Men from the beginning. It was on In Demand but I'm having a hard time getting into it.

Friday Night Lights < :love5: >
Boston Med
Mad Men
Persons Unknown - it's only 8 epi's so it will be done soon and barely counts.

DH is watching So You Think You Can Dance. Just doesn't do it for me.

And World Cup Soccer. DH dvr's them and watches many each night. I like soccer and all, but... three games a night???

I thought it was pretty good. As you said, being from Boston I had to watch. :) I don't know if they focus on the same Dr's for the whole series.

One of them was working on a double lung transplant - it made me tell DH again in very specific terms that I want to be an organ donor if anything happens to me. It was AMAZING. And the guy was so excited to be doing his job!

One segment that brought tears to my eyes was treating a cop who was shot. He was trying to stop a robbery for $50. :shake: But the solidarity all the officers show each other is moving.

I am watching again tonight!

DH and I watch:
Rescue Me
Mad Men

DH and I also like to watch new episodes of House Hunters and House Hunters International when they air (strangely compelling shows LOL).

I watch:
The Closer
Army Wives

When we had pay channels (now we get last season's dvds when the new season starts):
The Tudors
Entourage
Weeds

I recently discovered the show "Medium" and have been watching that since lifetime shows it every night (not a primetime show though, OP).

DH and I recently discovered Kitchen Nightmares, so sometimes we watch that together.

that's all i can think of. I don't know enough about the new shows to start taping them yet.

Make It or Break It :bag

I caught the first two seasons free on demand and it's back for the 3rd now. It's a ABC Family show about Olympic-level female gymnasts that is just a big soap opera. The woman who played DJ on Full House occasionally pops in to make speeches about abstinence. Addictive brain rot.

Also:
So You Think You Can Dance
Top Chef
True Blood

I'm taping Rescue Me for DH.

This is why I far behind on DVR shows. It's hard to stay up when there are 3 games a day to watch. I am all caught up on the games so slowly trying to catch up on the DVR.

Now
Hawthorne, liked the first season, second season started last week
friday night lights
entourage
Law and order CI
losing it with Jillian
the soup
next food network star

still have 9 hours of 24 to watch plus Law and order and CSI

I LOVE Tosh.0 but I always forget to watch it! I have one of his stand ups dvr'd that I need to watch. I find him hilarious!

Law & Order: CI (I really :love5: Jeff Goldblum)
Royal Pains (although not digging this season as much as last, enough already with the mysterious disease....)

Waiting for Covert Affairs (looks like an Alias-alike).

I guess we love our USA Network. :ROTFLMAO:

I've never gotten into Pysch although DH watches sometimes.

DH got us HBO so I could watch TrueBlood. I love the OnDemand because it ensures I'll be able to watch even if I need to go to bed or DD is fussy.

Other than that, we watch Yankees & some Mets games together (with DD, who likes Nick Swisher ... she's 4 months old)

I do my best to watch MythBusters and definitely enjoy Ace of Cakes, Dinner: Impossible, Good Eats, Chefs vs. City and Psych, but I can't call them "regular" shows.

Of course I have the complete BSG on DVD that I need to watch, too.
