how big a piece do i need for four adults + 1 baby (pretending he will eat this)...and perhaps some leftovers?

thanks!

most recipes i read say that 2 lbs of pork makes anywhere from 6 to 12 servings....so i guess it really depends on how much someone considers a serving size. lol. i'm guessing 1/4 to 1/2 lb for a pulled pork sandwich?

funny, i was thinking of this the other day, too. i wanted to try making pulled pork and have a crock pot recipe on hand for when the baby comes (just a few more days) and i am too tired to cook.

this is the recipe i am going to try.

yum! thanks for the recipe

so, if it calls for four pounds and you would plan to make two, would you cut the cooking time in half?

i'm always unsure about that with the slow cooker

no, i would keep the same cooking time. it's pork. you don't want to undercook it.

i'd say 5 hrs on high or 8 hrs on low.
