My DD loves the Paper Bag Princess! I bought it at TJ Maxx last year for about $2-$3. I've never seen/heard of the Secret Life of Princesses, but will check it out!

You need to get the 25th anniversary edition if you can on the Paper Bag Princess! It has all kinds of wonderful information about the story...its totally worth it.

How funny, I just bought the Secret Lives of Princesses today! I needed a gift for a birthday party DS is attending and was very charmed by the book when I saw it at Barnes and Noble. I also added it to DD's Amazon wish list and am hoping someone gives it to her for Christmas.

As for the Paper Bag Princess, we love the book! I gave it to DD for her 4th birthday. I normally do not care for Munsch books (DS went through a phase where he was always borrowing them), but that particular one is great!

Paper Bag Princess is great! I haven't seen the Secret Lives one, but it looks fun, I'll definitely add that to my list. Thanks for the rec!
