Calin 'Cheerful lavender' obviously does, but what about all the dolls who are wearing hats? Is there hair under there?

Calin 'Darling' doesn't appear to have hair. Why is this?

Is hair or no hair the way to go for a first doll (for a 1 yo)?

Do any B&M stores carry these?

Thanks! Who knew buying a doll could be so complicated!

Some have hair, some don't. I think it's just preference....we went with no hair just for ease of washing but I have heard many say that the hair washes just fine so it probably is just what you think your DD might like. Learning Express and toy stores like that often carry them, but they are usually cheaper online. I always check kidsurplus.com for sales (they are having 20% off now, IIRC) and http://www.liveandlearn.com/corolle/ has a huge selection of Corolle dolls.

Great choice for a first doll!

We have this one and she has no hair:

We gave her to DD at X-Mas, age 17 months (based on recs from here at BBB!). She LOVES her, sleeps with her nightly. DD will be 2 in a matter of weeks now. I can't imagine dealing with a doll with hair! Your DD may be different, but mine's a bit messy:love5:

amazon usually has pretty good prices on Corolle Calin and Tidoo, also. We have 2 different Calins without hair (for their 1st birthday later this month).
