Hi, I looked through the other posts and couldn't find a post that answered my question.

I'm looking for a medium sized every day diaper bag (I'm expecting my first child and want an all use bag) that I can use both as a shoulder bag and backpack and hook onto the stroller easily.
I'd really like one out of nylon or some durable fabric (not satin, something I can wipe stains off of). Prints are less of a concern but if they are cute great, solid and basic -- that's fine too.
I also would like outside pockets for bottles/sippy cups.
If there are a few easy access pockets for keys/cell phone/wallet that would be great.
If it can be unisex for my hubby, that would be great!

I like the Skip Hop bags -- but don't love the Via backpack (want a shoulder bag). If these two came in backpack / shoulder bag optional, I would be excited!

Skip hop dash deluxe (great bc my husband can use), studio diaper tote

How old is Baby? Will you need space for food/bottles? Will you also be carrying a purse? All of these will help in choosing the right size/bag. Lots of moms choose something more purselike and keep a changing kit to throw in a backpack for dh. And lots of dh's will actually carry just about anything. ;)

Okay now for the truth about convertible backpacks. Try them on before making a decision. Many convertible bags are not super comfortable to wear as backpacks. If you can't see them IRL, purchase from a place with free returns. That way you can see if it is comfortable for you.

If you end up going for a true backpack, some good ones are...
JJB BeRightBack
Baby Sherpa Shorthaul and Sherpa
Lands End Diaper Backpack
SkipHop Via Backpack

Also a sling style backpack like the JJCole might work, it unclips and easily slips to a stroller.
