View Full Version : Do I need to pack jeans/sweatshirt for Disney in July?

We leave for FL next week and I've started sorting clothes to pack on the trip. Where we live (Colorado) it gets hot during the day but then cools off significantly at night. We often need jeans and/or jackets during the evening - even during the summer. I've only been to FL twice in my life, but if I recall, it stays hot from sun up to sun down with a possibility of a light rain shower during the day. Is that correct? Will we be fine with sundresses and shorts or do I need to pack some warmer wear just in case? I'm trying to pack as light as possible and don't want to waste precious suitcase space with bulky clothes if not absolutely necessary. Thanks!

I can't think of any reason for a jacket or jeans in FL this time of year. Have a great trip!

You can even buy cheap rain ponchos in the park if you need them. Save that room in your suitcase for souvenirs!

Only if they are made of an ice-like material.

We are 94 during the day and 75 + at night. I think you'll be ok without them. This is also our rainy season so we get a lot of rain in the afternoon around 3pm.

Definitely no. We were there in late September and sweltering at 8pm. I can't even imagine July in Orlando.

I do usually bring 1 light sweater for air conditioned dining rooms!

SOme rooms are very cool with a/c but a light sweater is more than enough.
