Clearly the 2 YO will spend a lot of time in the stroller and I suppose the 4 YO will get tired as well.

What's your opinion?
1. Stick with the easy light single umbrella stroller?
2. Lug the heavy side by side double?

Thansk!

I would either take the double stroller or two singles. My 4 yr old rode in the stroller almost all the time. When she was 5 she rode in it more than not.

I vote for 2 singles. that's what we did last year with my 5 / 2 year old. They may need to separate anyways due to height restrictions so I could go off with the little one.

Oops, I thought the question was whether to take a double or 1 single.

We took 2 singles. I would recommend that.

I did't even mention 2 singles because the thought never crossed my mind, but that seems to definately be the way to go. thanks ladies.

I have a DD who is 5 and an 18 month old. I only have one stroller, but I am definitly renting one (off site) for the 5yo. I can't see her walking the whole time!

But would two singles be better than a medium weight double (16 lbs)? I would think that pushing one stroller would be easier than pushing two but maybe there's a benefit that I'm not comprehending. Please advise!

The main advantage to two singles is if you want to split up. One adult may want to take a baby back to the hotel to nap when an older child would prefer to stay at the parks.

Or maybe the older child wants to ride attractions that the younger child is not tall enough to ride. So one adult takes the older child one way and the other adult goes the other way.

Ah ha! Great insight - thanks!!
