need. recs. for diaper doublers for cloth pre folds.....

All of a sudden within the last couple of days DD has been waking up with a leaky diaper at night. She sleeps from about 9 or 10 pm till around 7. Should I just put a second prefold in the middle of the diaper or should I get something else?

Try adding a hemp doubler to the prefold and that should help alot. The hemp is very thin but absorbant and shouldn't add much bulk.

I would try a preemie prefold first if you have it before buying a hemp doubler. Hemp works great though if another prefold won't fit the bill.

We have diaper service so no more premie prefolds. The only thing we have close to a doubler is a fuzzi bunz insert, but those are still pretty big as they were the large size.

Any specific brand of hemp doubler?

Since this only seems to be happening at night I don't really care about bulk.

You can also go up a size prefold at night. That's what I eventually had to do (plus doubler)--ugh.

As far as brands go, I think I'd try these stay-dry hemp doublers. I have some and they're thick and absorb well. They're small and made for young babies.
