going in mid-august

we haven't booked anything but thinking about it. Are we nuts. We are coming from NY, so we know it will be hot, but will the weather be crazy?
You guys seem so organized, so I hate to do something last minute but I figure we will go other years as well. The kids are 4 and 7 and we want to get there while DD is still princess crazy.

It will be hot, no doubt. But OTOH, there are a lot of things to do that are indoors at WDW. Most of the shows and many of the rides are actually indoors. I think it is very doable. :)
