So, I sent my baby off to her grandma's today, first time I've been without her for more than a work day. No calls, no worries, but I'm still awake and missing her. And singing our lullabys to random cyberspace friends.

"On the day that you were born the angels got together, and decided to create a dream come true . . . " Golddust, starlight, eyes of BROWN, you get the picture.

Hope you got some sleep. Enjoy it, every mom needs a break. I wish I could have shipped mine to Grandma's last night. She was up from 1-3am!

Your song brought tears to my eyes. It was my mom and dad's song. My dad died one month ago today. I have that song on a cd of lullabies I made for my dd before she was born.

Awwww, hugs! :grouphug: You need a break and she will come back with all sorts of stories about her big adventure with grandma!

FWIW, DD#2 is off to the ILs today too. Should be interesting.... She wakes every night and comes looking for DH and/or I.
