Neighbor came to talk to me today about a "concern". Said his dog "escapes" from their yard and comes into our yard through a small hole in the fence. Wants us to block up the hole so that our dog won't bite his dog.

Um, what?? You let your small dogs run around loose, IN THE ALLEY WHERE CARS DRIVE FASTER THAN THEY OUGHT TO, and you're concerned that when your dog comes into my yard, that our dog (who has never shown aggression towards his dog, even on our property) is going to eat him??

I mean, really. I didn't argue. Because I don't want HIS dog coming into MY yard either. I don't want to pick up another dog's poop and have him spray all over our deck. So I plugged the hole. But seriously, I would have loved to give him a piece of my mind. DH asked if I told him "You know, if your dog came onto our property and our dog ate him, whose fault is it?" Hahaha.

How irresponsible! You were very nice to plug the hole and an angel for holding your tongue!
