I have a JJB Between and I hate it! Well, I love the mommy pocket part but don't like the rest. It hits me in a funny place. Its really wide and bulky. The bottles always fall out of the side pockets, cuz they are not deep enough. And I don't think there is enough room. I am somewhat of a light packer. One boy that is ten and doesn't need anything and a DD that is 4 mos old. I like the look of the PPB and Reese Li. I think that I might prefer a tote style or back pack style. I hate the long strap thing. Any suggestions? I am up for anything, and not just the two brands I mentioned. Thanks!

I don't have any suggestions for you but I just want to say that I feel the same way about that bag! But I stuck with JJB and bought a couple of others that I like and just use my btween for the babysitter now.

Hope you get some good suggestions

I also agree with you - hate the BeTween. Felt like I was wearing a box on a strap. But I do like my Packabe especially for longer outings when I bring extra stuff. When I pack light I've just been using a larger purse than normal (before kids I had very small bags) which is more stylish than a diaper bag anyway. So many purses can be wiped clean and have multiple pockets anyway. Not as many as JJBs, but enough to keep things organized.

I ordered the BeTween before I knew what I would really need, and couldn't even fit a minimal load in it. (And I carry so much more now that DD is actually here). I returned it. I got the SKip Hop Studio Tote instead and love it. SHort straps, but long enough to put on my shoulder. Very roomy. Lightweight. Great bottle pockets. No mommy pocket but I use the front two pockets for my cell phone and wallet. The only down side is that it is TOO large for some short trips (LOL!). But I like my diaper bag to be a survivial kit, so 90% of the time it is perfect. You can grab one at BBBaby and use a 20% off coupon which brings the price down to $72 before tax.

What about the Storksak bags? Or the OiOi ones? I see them on ebay often. They are closer to the $200 mark. Or as twobees said- check out some of the Skip Hops. I've never used the BeTween. But I love my Packabe. I don't usually carry it, I put it on stroller hooks. It carries quite a lot. I carry diapers & extra clothes for 2 & snacks for all 3 of mine.

I almost bought a Between and ended up with a Be Spicy. The Be Spicy might be a tad more than I really need, but I am very happy with it; it holds a lot of stuff (http://www.littledudesanddivas.com/jjbspcylotus.html). If I had not had nesting set in a month before I had DD2 and waited I most likely would've gotten this new Ju Ju Be bag:

I saw the linked bag at Nordstroms the other day in a pretty grren/blue flower print and really liked it.

I just saw the BFF in the new print and it is so cute! I love JuJuBe prints and bags but theya re a bit heavy. I just love the mommy pocket. I bought this handmade diaper bag made from an Amy Butler fabric on etsy. I love it and it was $90, but it is still sitting in the corner of my room. I want to change since I don't like the between, but I can't give up the mommy pocket. Any other bags with a mommy pocket or something like it that anyone knows of?

I just received my Storksak Allison in mushroom which I ordered online for $147 (Black & Chocolate are reg price $245). It looks big but it's light co'z it's made out of nylon and have lots of pockets in & out (outside front pocket has a cellphone pocket inside). Comes with a changing pad which you can place on the bottom of the bag along with diapers & wipes since there's room for it that zips up, a bottle insulator that keeps it warm/cold inside, and a pouch you can put your what nots. My sister has a Nest Elliott ($339) and it's the same size as the Storksak I got but hers is heavier and bulkier since it's leather. I considered Nest Faux Leather North South ($199) since I figured it might be lighter since it's faux leather but went with the Storksak co'z it's cheaper and it zips to close unlike both nests, they just have a magnet button that holds on top aside from the shoulder straps.

So do you like the bag? I thought about ordering it but didn't know what it was like. Let me know.

I'm still waiting for your review. ;)

And congrats! (I think I said it in another post but I'm not sure).

That would have to wait until I actually leave the house for something other than carpool. Mostly I farm the 3 older ones out & then babes & I snooze away the day.

I think you did too, but thanks again.
