Can croissants be frozen and thawed for later use without them being mushy?

Definitely. I would freeze them in a ziplock and when thawing, I would take them out of the bag so they don't sit in their moisture.

:yeahthat: Warming them in an oven or toaster oven also helps.

Yes, I do this often when I buy the giant packages of croissants at Costco. I put them in a freezer bag and then move the bag to the refrigerator when we're ready to indulge:-)
