garlic powder vs. garlic

I'm going to make stuffed peppers and the recipe calls for 1/4 tsp garlic powder. If I wanted to use real garlic instead, how many cloves would I use?

That depends on how much you love garlic :)

One clove, minced fine or pressed through agarlic press, would probably do it.

Usually the bottle of garlic powder will give an equivalent amount on the side somewhere. Mine says 1/4 tsp=1 clove. :)
