DS1 has shredded his shades. :angry-smiley-005:

I need to find inexpensive, roller, room-darkening shades in a dark blue.

I've looked at all the places I know to get these from - Penney's, Sear's, and Lowe's - and can't find them any more.

Anyone have any idea where I can find something like this?

ARGH.

Have you looked at Smith and Noble?

How about cut-to-fit shades from Lowes and a quart of blue paint?

I have looked at Smith and Noble, unfortunately. They're too high-end and don't have dark blue, darn it.

Try www.selectblinds.com or www.blinds.com

I've ordered several times from select blinds and have been very happy with the quality. I'm waiting for some custom roman shades to arrive any day now :)

Here are some roman shades in Blue http://www.domestications.com/Products/Blinds+Shades/Faux+Suede+Roman+Shades+Tab+Top+Panels/18000/18100/A12810x/R/12810B_144_80 Don't know if they will work or if you specifically need roller ones! If you want these let me know and I will watch my email for any sale codes.

Those roman shades look good, Tara, but I think they're only available in one size (40x84). A bit too wide for my windows, which max at 30. But thank you!

H (willow33) thank you! I think I can get what I need for about $32. Given that I only need three, and I think I paid $22 for the cheapo vinyl ones I have up now, that's pretty good!
