DS is totally dependent on his "Blue Puppy" (which also happens to be discontinued and non-machine washable--thanks a lot, Carter's, you jerks!), and we're desperately looking for a back-up as DS takes Blue Puppy everywhere with him and it can only be a matter of time before he gets left behind somewhere. I'm looking for a small, stuffed blue puppy with darker blue spots and red collar and stitching manufactured by Just One Year by Carter's (not the blue puppy with the rattle or music, or multicolored spots, however). Looks like the one in this picture: http://www.amazon.com/Carters-Spotted-Puppy-Plush-Lovey/dp/B001JGK5PE

We've located one for sale on ebay, but they're charging $42.49 and I just can't spend $50 on a tiny stuffed animal. Plus, I think it's a little unconscionable that people try to make such a huge profit off of poor parents in need of back-up loveys!

Anyway, if any of you happen to know where to find such an item at a reasonable cost (or if you have a spare one yourself), please let me know and maybe we can work something out!

YEah, Ebay has a lot of people selling marked up loveys. Also, check CL. Mine happened to have DS's fav blankie locally, but it was used. I didn't really want to buy a used one.

I bought the rattle version of this lovey (his name is blue puppy too!!) years ago at TJ Maxx. You might check there.

The blue dog in the original post was a Lovey here too... complete with a prosthetic nose (after our dog ate the original). He was lost and we had to come up with a great story b/c I couldn't stomach the Ebay price.

Good Luck!

Try here: http://dirtybutter.com/plushcatalog/

You can search their catalog and also post an ISO and see if anyone has one.
