Last time we rented at the Atlanta airport it was a TOTAL nightmare. Through Avis, lines were long, completely apathetic agents (only one person to service the long line while the other took her break in plain sight - total pet peeve), car was dirty and reeked of smoke, took forever to switch it for a new one, etc etc.
Has anyone had a GOOD experience renting at the ATL airport? We're going on Thursday, we aren't premium members anywhere because we rarely rent, have two kiddos with us including an infant (will probably check her car seat). I don't want to spend unnecessarily, but a quick and painless rental is much more important to me than savings a few bucks.
