two questions -
do you have any specific brand recommendations (and if possible, I'd love to have one where I can put in fruit, not just dry foods)? and

do they keep food fresh throughout the day (I've read some reviews where crackers tend to get stale after a few hours, etc)?

I use these (http://www.reuseit.com/store/fresh-snack-pack-sandwich-p-1642.html) for sandwiches and these (http://www.reuseit.com/store/reuseit%E2%84%A2-snack-stuff-sack-recycled-p-1378.html) for all sorts of other stuff. I love the sack ones!

That website looks like it has a lot of great things! I think I'm going to have to place an order. Thanks for the links.

These are great for sandwiches - easy to use, and size is really adjustable:

But I am also looking for a good, and washable, snack bag for things like goldfish and craisins. I like the vinyl better than cloth for that (we have cloth snack bags, but they seem to get a little gross after awhile, even though we wash them regularly).

You know what I just posted a similar question in the Kid Food forum but it didn't get much response. I have checked out the reusit site but I felt like I would be more comfortable with and more likely to use bags with zip closures and there aren't any on that site.

I did a little searching on etsy and came up with these options:

OriginalsByLauren (http://www.etsy.com/shop/OriginalsbyLauren?section_id=6983603)

LoveForEarth (http://www.etsy.com/shop/LoveForEarth?section_id=6132571)

MooCowMomma (http://www.etsy.com/shop/moocowmomma?section_id=6582902)

FairyThread (http://www.etsy.com/listing/50606620/sponge-bob-eco-friendly-reusable)

I have one of each except the last one waiting in my shopping cart and I'm just waiting until payday to pull the trigger I guess. (Mini-hijack: if anyone has any feedback on any of those that'd be great)

Hope that helps

Yeah those do look the best (and they are the most expensive) but too bad they don't have any fun patterns!
