DS is finally ready for some finger foods, I think. We've been doing cheerios at home. He can't really get it into his mouth but hey you have to start somewhere. I remember with DD, some parents sent shredded chicken and eggs. Pedi said chicken is okay. I think eggs we have to wait a little longer. Any suggestions for what to pack for daycare? For the life of me, I cant remember what I packed for DD. It wasn't even that long ago.

Here is some of what DS eats:
diced turkey, chicken, ham, or meatball
peas
green beans
sweet potato
avocado (used to coat in crushed cheerios)
banana (used to coat in crushed cheerios)
blueberries
watermelon
pancake
cheese
cottage cheese
noodles
edamame (skins slipped off)

not a finger food, but he loves applesauce and yogurt, too.

At 9 months old DD was not restricted on any foods and had tried eggs so I would try them at home and then if she does well send them to daycare.
