do you have one? where did you purchase it? how do you know it's the 'real' thing?

It looks the original ones are made by Eden Hand Arts of Dennis, Ma. I would start from there.

I don't have one, but have often thought about it because we do go to the Cape in the summer. However, I don't want to wait in line!

I found this and they are in Canada (strange)....not sure how important it is to actually get it from Eden Arts...There are also knockoffs all over the Cape.

East Wind Silver Co. in Chatham has a version. I have several pieces of jewelry from their shop and have been very happy with them.

I have one from Eden. I stood in line for several hours buy it. I really like it. The only "real" ones are the ones purchased directly from Eden, but the knockoffs all look pretty good to me!

I live in MA, seen a ton of these bracelets, and never knew there was a "real" vs. fake one. I thought they were called "Cape Cod Bracelets".

I didn't know there was fake vs real either. VERY interesting. I'd like to get the kids one. prefer all gold but not sure it's the right time now. too bad they're not closed and wont open again until NOV :(

:yeahthat: My mom got me mine at a reputable local jeweler. So it's probably a fake and I never would have known! I had never even heard of Eden before.
