Recommend me Ipad Cover and screen Protector

Just got one yesterday and I was considering the $39 Apple cover but the dealseeker in me is curious if I can find similar or better cover with less amount of money. I also need to get screen protector too...

It's a little pricey, but I like how you can prop it up so you can watch the screen on a table. Plus the iPad is almost entirely covered so it is safer from scratching etc. I've had it for a few months and it has held up really well.

We have the $39 Apple one and really like it. I think it gets great reviews b/c it really is functional...in fact, it seems to be constantly out of stock at our Apple Store, so I finally just ordered it online...

DH insists I get the Otterbox Defender. I haven't had time to check it out and read reviews yet. I think it's about $55 on Amazon. Not gym ideal pri e at all, but if it saves my iPad from DS I guess I'll pay it : )

i never heard of the otterbox and now I am itching to click the buy button on amazon. It looks cool and seems will protect the ipad from my 2 yrs old well. We will be travelling non-stop for 6 months starting in Sept, so I need something that can withstand the abuse on all those airplane flights. Will this protect from spilled water/juices too?

I got one of the CrazyOnDigital brand ones on Amazon for ~$25. Love it. Mine is light brown leather with a red stripe. It looks more like a portfolio than the black Apple one, I like it alot. It's wearing well after 2 months, but if it does get beat up and I decide to replace it I won't mind for $25.

I buy all my iPod and iPad supplies from Amazon, I think the prices and selection are much better.
