Any great deals on flower girl type dresses for size 2 - 3? My DDs have been asked to be in a November wedding in NC and we need to find two white dresses that can have a sash on them. I am considering consignment if it is okay with my SIL or just a great deal. I am hoping to spending $50 or less for both after seeing most David's Bridal flower girl dresses are over $100! I saw two matching ones on CL for $25 each but am not sure if sash will work or if they are in the style my SIL will like.

I did a search for "flower girl" and saw some people found things at consignment or Gymbo. Gymbo doesn't seem to have anything appropriate in stock currently.

Thanks!

Bought a brand new one on Ebay for DD a few years ago for $50. Do a search for brand "US Angels dress". Good luck!

You can try JCPenney or Target online. Sometimes you can get good deals w/ online coupons. For my sister's wedding in November, we got them for less than $30 at JCP.

I found a nice one at Burlington Coat Factory for ~$20 a few years ago. They had several styles in quite a few sizes.

Strasburg had many on clearance (including the one my DD will wear this weekend) when I was in yesterday. Didn't pay much attention to the current price; didn't want to kick myself for buying too early.

second vote for ebay. DD was in wedding in Jan. and got hers on ebay for less than $20. It came with a sash, but we bought one from David's bridal to coordinate with the wedding colors and it worked great. I just searched for toddler flower girl dresses and found lots of options. Good luck.

I ordered from http://flowergirlprincess.com/index.php?cPath=24_30 when I had to get a flower girl dress for DD1. The customer service was fabulous and the prices were very reasonable, although it may not be quite a low as your price point. I just looked and they had several that were in the $30 range.

Burlington Coat Factory has a nice selection of white dresses usually for under $25.

I absolutelly LOVE the Strasburg dresses for flower girls. They are gorgeous, heirloom quality and typically sell for the same price as David's Bridal (less if there is a good sale). Our Dillards had them on sale for an extra 40% clearance price this past weekend (about $50/dress IIRC). You may be able to find Strasburg deeply discounted for Labor Day. Just think of the photo opportunity! :)

check mygirldress.com. We got a super cute one for DD for my sisters wedding around $50. They also have ones that could be worn for Easter, etc.

ebay has been our go to. I bought dresses for both my girls to stand in my brother's wedding last May. They were new and cost me $50 shipped for both (I think). They were lilac satin on top with a sash and lilac satin rose and then a puffy tulle skit with lilac rose petals "encased" in the tulle. Both managed to rip holes in the tulle by the end of the night and they were dropping petals everywhere, but they looked cute in photos and I really didn't care for that price.

Another vote for Burlington Coat Factory. You can get cute dressy dresses there.

Are you in NC, currently? If you're anywhere close to Burlington, exit 140 (I think, University Drive exit) on I-40/85, check out the Peaches & Cream store, over near the Target.

Definitely check consignment stores! I see them ALL THE TIME. I bought my DD's for $10 and it was brand new with tags! I just saw one yesterday for $12 and it was US Angels brand. Good luck!

Thank you for all the ideas and replies! If you see anything more, feel free to post. I feel like I have a little time because they fit the David's bridal desses SIL liked. She likes sleeveless and all sateen or satin like with the ability to put a sash on it. The Strasburg dresses were beautiful and one may have worked but didn't come in small enough sizes. I will definitely check out Burlington Coat Factory and consignment stores in the area! I also liked many of the online sites and will continue to research them.

Thanks again!
