Considering something like this:

or this:

for some upcoming trips. Normally we use the FP booster, but that's too big to tote around sans car. Do these work well? Recommendations, please!

Thanks!

PS - This is for an 11 mo old, 20 lbs.

The P&T one looks nice, but I have no experience. We just take the bumbo with us, which doesn't sound like an option for you.

This looks nice (http://www.babysteals.com/?utm_source=babysteals&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=20100908)! It's the Tie Chair on babysteals today.

Hi zukeypur, we ended up ordering both that I linked to, so we could try them at home before the trip. We kept the P&T one, b/c it has rubber gripper on the straps & seat bottom--very secure. It folds up small & light so it was easy to carry along. It was great to be able to have the baby sit at the table at places that didn't have highchairs.

We have the P&T, and while I love it, and have used it many places, I have been a little surprised how many times we haven't been able to use it. You aren't supposed to use it on pedestal tables (which rules out a lot of restaurants), and many tables have a large lip, so you can't get enough of the table edge to secure the screws. I also though it would be great for picnic tables, but have discovered that many of them are way too thick.

Just a heads up. I do love how flat it stores, DS can't get enough of swinging his legs while sitting in it, and he loves being right at the "big people" table.
