Summer clearance at CVS and Walgreens

I thought there was already a thread on this but I couldn't find it.

Went to CVS, still 50% off clearance. 1st Walgreens was also 50%. Scored at my 2nd Walgreens where they were just marking the summer clearance down to 75%.

DS has been asking for a slip and slide forever. Glad I found one at such a good price.

My store, which is always behind in terms of discounting, is still at 50% off. Of course, given that I don't need anything, that's probably not a bad thing, except that I know I'll end up checking out others (near work, DS' school etc.). So, thanks for the heads-up OP:)

Forgot to say before that my Rite Aid also had 75% off summer stuff. Lots of squirt guns and summer balls.

My CVS always has Speedo goggles, which I try to buy at 50% or 75% off for next summer. These seem more comfortable and easier to adjust than some cheaper googgles. They are about $12.99 regularly at CVS (a bit of a markup over other stores), so you can do the math about pricing. The googles are mostly Speedo adult size, but I used the adult size this year and perhaps last for my 5.5 year old and 8 year old, and they never complained. I don't think there is a big difference between child, youth, and adult sizes.

Got a little portable tabletop gas grill for $6.25 (75% off) at my CVS on Saturday. Thanks! The large rubber kickballs (like school ones) were ringing up $1.75.
