My DS is seriously obsessed with baseball. He loves to watch it and actually sat through the minor league games we took him to this summer, watching the game the entire time (he wouldn't go jump in the bounce house with DD or meet the mascot because he would miss the game!). He also loves to throw small balls - DH taught him how to wind up and lets him throw into the backstop at the park. He wears his baseball hat everywhere, even sleeps with it in his arms, and carries a ball with him all day long. Completely. Obsessed.
I am starting to plan Christmas gifts, and am having a hard time finding age appropriate baseball stuff. The big hollow plastic bats are 4+, I'm guessing nobody makes gloves sized for a 2 yr old, baseballs are too big for his hands...We could do a T-Ball set, I suppose, but his real interest is in pitching (and I think he'd be dangerous with a bat ;) ).
Has anyone seen anything appropriate for a 2 year old? I'm guessing we'll let him be a baseball player for Halloween, but don't know where to look for a 2T baseball uniform? Thanks!
