I went to Costco today and they are selling Step 2 Dream Kitchen for $119. Does anyone know if this is a good deal ? Which brand of play kitchen is the best ?

I really like the Pottery Barn Kids' set but it is ridiculously expensive so I am looking for an alternative.

TIA !

The Step 2 is a good deal- that model is about 150+ shipping (depending on the store). We got that for DD last Christmas- she loves it! cool features include: sizzling/boiling sounds, depending on cookware; light over the sink; push buttons/sounds on stove and micro; push button phone; also comes with play food and some dishes!

It is a great toy- DD is 32 mos and has been enjoying it as she expands creative play!

That is a great kitchen. Some people don't like plastic toys and prefer the wooden ones. We have a Kid Kraft kitchen from Costco Online but one of DS's friend has the Step 2 kitchen and its much more popular when the kids are playing together. It does more stuff. FWIW I like the Kid Kraft too, it prettier, it looks like the pink retro kitchen at PBK.
