I have what I'm pretty sure is PUPPP rash. I had it with DD too, only I got it after she was born. I'm 34 wks right now and have had it for about a week. It has gotten progressively worse and I now wake up at night scratching it. Last night I couldn't stand it and I finally took some Benadryl. It was the first time I have slept for more than a few hours at a time. Is it safe for me to take Benadry every night?
I've read a lot about the rash and basically nothing gets rid of it except delivery. I had it for about 2 weeks after my DD was born and it was unbearable. I had it all over my stomach, thighs and arms. The only relief I got was when my doctor finally gave me some kind of prescription. Anti itch creams did nothing.
