What dress for DD for Sept wedding?

SIL is getting married end of Sept. We are in VT, so whether could go either way. Ceremony might be outdoors, depending on whether. Reception will be inside.

I've already bought 2 dresses. One was too big, but I can re-buy in a smaller size for about $20.

Will either of these be good? DH didnt like the black one, but i thought it was adorable. He also says he doesn't like dresses that poof out under the chest (like a princess dress) which I think is completely crazy since almost all girls dresses are like this and DD LOVES spinning like a princess and making her dress spin out.

Dresses would hit DD (who is almost 5) around her knee. I would pair with black ballet flats or something like that. Maybe patent. Does she need tights or nylons? No clue here! I hate nylons myself, so usually like without. DD is not in the wedding, just a guest.

Forgot that the wedding is around 4pm.

Will either of these work or do i need to start from scratch?

They're both adorable and would be perfect for a fall wedding. I like the black one personally! I'd do little eyelet trimmed ankle socks and patent leathers. You could buy a cute little bolero style cardi in case it's chilly.

I agree that either of them would work. Love the black one! I also would probably bring along a cardigan and maybe some tights just in case it's chillier in the evening than you thought.

Can you get the a black dress like the first one? I don't care for the Paris prints on the black dress.
