DD is 5 and over the last few months I have started to suspect she has an allergy to dogs and possibly seasonal allergies. I am allergic to everything under the sun (had 3 allergy shots a week for most of my life). She went to a home daycare that had a dog for the first 3 years of her life, but never had an issue. But the last two times she has been around dogs, her eyes started burning and tearing, she started sneezing. Last night they had a "reading with Rover" program at the library where for 10 minutes she read a book to a Standard Poodle. When she came home, she was sneezing and wheezing! Do I worry about asthma (which I also have)? Is it time to get her tested?

I'd definitely take her in for testing.

DD saw an allergist for the first time when she was 1 1/2 or so and was tested at 2 1/2 I think.
