Terrorist attacks can shake the foundations of our biggest buildings, but they cannot touch the foundation of America.
These acts shatter steel, but they cannot dent the steel of American resolve.
America was targeted for attack because we are the brightest beacon for freedom and opportunity in the world.
And no one will keep that light from shining.
President George W. Bush

God Bless our Defenders and First Responders and all who gave their lives or lay their lives on the line every day so our country can be free

What a sad, traumatic and terrifying day. I will never forget the fighter jets protecting our skies after the disaster, the horrible stories of death and sorrow streaming through the news, the absolute fear of what was happening to our country.

May our nation never experience such pain and sorrow again.

Remembering Paramedic Carlos Lillo and all those who were brave enough to respond or try to help, and all those who never came home.

I've been thinking about this so much all week. May we never forget, but may the country continue to heal. Prayers for the victims and their families today.

Prayers and thoughts for all the families, first responders, and friends as well as for all the rest of us whose lives and world was shaken on that horrible day. May we heal and may we never give in to the agenda of the terrorists who would drag us down the same hole of hatred and intolerance in which they fester.

I thank God today that my own father, who was in the Pentagon that day, came home safely that night. Only the month before his office was in the section that was hit.

Remembering all the families who lost someone near and dear to them.

It's hard to believe it's been nine years. I still can't watch movies like WTC and United 93. I'm so thankful that my friends made it out of the towers.
