Getting crayon out of carpet - help!

2 yr old DS decided he wanted to be picasso on my very light beige carpet with red and black crayons. They weren't crayola, they were the crappy Publix crayons they give out with the coloring books. They are waxier than crayolas I think. I tried my Woolite carpet cleaner and it's not working and now i'm out.
Hubby is gonna freak!

DD decided my PB camel colored everyday suede couches were a good canvas one day (you should have seen my face!). I used resolve carpet cleaner...the one that comes in the aerosol can and foams up (and is full of chemicals LOL). It got it out very quickly. If that doesn't work, maybe it's time to get your carpets professionally cleaned anyway????

I wonder if you could do what is done with a candle that melts onto a carpet. Put a paper towel down and then heat it up with an iron and let it melt into the paper towel.
