We are moving and I'm thinking of buying a used washer/ dryer from the tenant who is leaving the new place. I figured that it would save me the hassle of transporting it and hooking it up and she may be willing to negotiate better terms for it as it would save her the hassle of putting it in storage or finding another buyer at short notice. But beyond this, I have no clue how to check whether its working all right and what to watch out for. Any BTDT advice? TIA!
