Would you finish this playhouse?

We just bought this cute, rustic playhouse on craigslist for $50 and it is now sitting in our yard and my children are really enjoying it. We live in the Midwest (snow, cold etc.) and I'm wondering if I should somehow seal it, paint it or just leave it alone. What would you do?

I would probably stain it with deck/exterior stain. I like the color so I would try to match it to keep the rustic look.

This is what I would do too.

Go to the hardware store and pick up Thompson's Water Sealer. Its really easy to put on. The wood absorbs it and it helps protect it from the weather . It is clear so it won't change the color of the wood.
