My tale of woe:
All last week I had a cold that DD2 also had...scratchy throat, congestion, cough.Wednesday I get a call from daycare that DD2 has a fever. Sure enough-ear infection. DH and I both take 1/2 days from work to stay home with her. Had an out of office meeting that morning so in actuality I was out of the office the entire day Thursday. Quickly reschedule Thursday afternoon meetings for today. Friday I also had an out of office meeting most of the day and my Mirena placement so I was out that whole day too. So today is my first day back in the office and I am SWAMPED with work. And what happens? Half way through a bagel a crown comes out from my back molar. I just about bit a hole through my tongue as it happened. So, now I have to spend my lunch hour (and maybe longer) at the dentist.
I seriously need an extra few days in my week in order to get everything done. The only upside is that I had a root canal on that tooth so I'm in no pain.
Too bad drinking on the job is frowned upon...I could use one! LOL!
