as for bags i've always had an eye on, i've always really liked the Chanel jumbo flap in white. so feminine and so chic.

hehe, a bargain indeed! i don't have any cabas-like bag but i'm really starting to see the appeal. i love that slouchy look!

and just saw your ETA in the OP...actually i have the LV Damier Neverfull (MM size) which DH let me get for Xmas two years ago. that was pre-kids and i convinced DH i could use it as a diaper bag eventually. :) i like it a lot and now that it's pretty much fall season i'm going to start using this bag more. it's really good for travel. i bought one of those bag organizers for it and that really makes it even more useful. though now that i have DS, i wish i had the GM size... i need more space to lug all his stuff around too!

I have one too and I've recently starting using it as a combo purse/diaper bag and it has been great. I agree that it is great for travel, although the thin straps started to hurt my shoulders when it was full of my daughter's stuff for the airplane.

im carrying a black Chloe messenger bag that Ive had for a few years. I love it so much that after I bought it I stopped looking at bags altogether.

I still kind of dont look at bags anymore-also because they are so $ these days..but if I had a choice Id want another Chloe bag...in a cognac color.

WHY DID I OPEN THIS POST!!!! Another die hard Louis Vuitton fan here.... so much so that i HAD the DAMIER NEVERFULL tote that 2 of you posted - - and i SOLD IT ON CRAIGSLIST! I was actually on the waiting list when it was finally released in the USA 2 Novembers ago - - then used it for a few months and just didn't LOVE it. Loved the style and the huge size... it was the Damier material on the handles that i couldn't get used to - - a lot stiffer and harder than the monogram leather. It did stay nicer, cleaner- - but also i found the small handles more cumbersome with kids - - i needed a messager bag or at least larger straps to wear on my shoulder. Actually upgraded now and i have the BLOOMSBURY GM Damier bag - - which is pretty large for a shoulder bag and can be worn as a MESSENGER accross the body - - this is my new diaper bag!
