I just picked up the Lego City advent calendar at Border's this morning. The price was $39.99 and I used a 40% off coupon so the total was $24.99. I didn't see any of the Lego Kingdom ones. The Lego store's price is $34.99. I saw both at the Lego store this week and really liked the kingdom one, but I couldn't justify paying full price for that when I can get the city one for cheaper with a gift card.

I used this coupon which expires today.

Just FYI that Learning Express has them. Our location is having a storewide 20% off sale next weekend (not this coming weekend). They also have the playmobil ones, which are less expensive to start I think??

Do these ever go on clearance? Even at $25, I can't really justify a new toy for that price.

I would not count on finding these on clearance after Christmas. I did get the Playmobil advent calendar last year after Christmas for 40% off at Borders.

I got one, thanks so much for posting this!

The way I look at it is it works out to be about $1 a day for a little fun, which isn't too bad.

This weekend's Border's Coupon is 33% off.....

Is that 20% off sale for ALL Learning Express stores? I rarely go there so I'm not that familiar with LE, I looked at the website but couldn't find info.

I guess it is a special sale for the local store's birthday. It is just the Westborough MA and Marlboro MA stores.

Learning Express stores are all independently owned, so you'll have to check with your local one. I"m on my store's email list and that is how I get coupons and notices of sales.
