View Full Version : Thinking about getting these for Disney (and beyond)

We are going to WDW at the end of October. I figure I'll be wearing mostly capris while we're there. I want something comfortable that I can wear without socks. I thought these looked cute and comfy. I figure I can wear them with jeans or capris now, here, while the weather is still warm, too. Thoughts?

Shoes like that make my feet look weird, and they don't stay on me very well. I may have these Merrell Mary Janes (http://www.zappos.com/merrell-encore-mj-black-canvas?zfcTest=prodPage2a:1) and find that they go with capris/longer shorts okay. At least I think they do...

If they fit you and give you enough support, I think they're cute.

I think they look good and would work. Those are supposed to be really comfy.

They look cute. I think they are perfect for what you are describing. I would wear them if they fit (last time I tried Privos they didn't fit, unfortunately).

ETA: I also have those same Merrel MJ's, which do fit and are very comfy. I think WTG suggested them when I was looking for good-walking-on-vacation-shoes last year. :)

I just orderd them ($5 coupon to order online, plus free shipping and double points time at dsw). If they don't work I can always take them back. I might actually run into the store today or tomorrow and try them on- probably should've done that first, darn impulse buying!!

Dude, you have 3 DC. You are NOT allowed to go to DSW and try stuff on. It will make you crazy unless you go alone.

Sorry jent, I have several pairs of those...so comfy..

They are okay, but I would personally prefer something a little more interesting. I have a pair of Keen sport Mary Janes that I love and they are orange - which I find actually goes with everything.

Maybe something more like this:

Oh, sorry! After I posted I see that you just ordered them - I hope they fit and work out perfectly for you!

Ha! That's okay! I actually looked at the first pair you linked. I was considering them, but I went with the more plain and boring pair! I figure I can wear them with anything so I don't have to worry about packing more than one pair for the parks. I will pack some other shoes for other things we do (dinners, etc.)

Go alone? What's that?!?! I never go anywhere alone! I don't even want to describe the scene at DSW last week...which is why I just ordered these shoes online!

Now that L&M are in school 4 PMs a week I can take C in and it will be much easier to manage!

I like those shoes. :) I order them awhile ago from Zappos, but they did not fit me right. Which was too bad because I really liked them.

I think they are cute and would be comfy for Disney. The key with Disney is to bring 2 pair of shoes and alternate them. Wear one pair one day and the other the next. That way your feet aren't being rubbed in the same spot over and over every day so you avoid blisters and your feet get different support from different shoes so you don't have the pain or fatigue issues you can have with wearing just one pair of shoes.

Have fun!!

Got them and love them! They seem to fit well and are comfy. I'm glad I ordered them early because I'm definitely going to need to break them in a little before our trip. I think they'll work well with most of the outfits I'd wear in WDW.
